Field Trips (Grades K - 8)

Classes will occasionally take field trips to reinforce learning that is taking place inside the classroom.  The teachers will inform the parents in advance about the nature of the trip, clothes to be worn (if something is out of the ordinary), expenses involved, and the expected return time.  In some instances, parents may be asked to help carpool or act as chaperones.  For liability reasons, a consent form for these activities is signed at the time of registration.

Class Trips (Grades 5 - 8)

A class trip is defined as a multiple day, chaperoned event with an educational value that has been approved by the school board.  Only grades five through eight may have a class trip.

Grades five and six go to Boston, MA.

Grades seven and eight go to Washington, D.C. on alternating years.
