Champlain
Valley Christian School seeks to glorify our risen Savior by preparing our
children spiritually, intellectually, and physically to meet the challenges
that
Christians face in an ever-changing world.
The Christian School Society was organized in 1969 by a group of
parents who were convinced of the need for Christian education in the Champlain Valley.
In 1974, the Champlain Valley Christian School (CVCS) became a reality. The school opened
with grades 1-6 in a rented building in Ferrisburgh.
In 1976, larger facilities were built by the Champlain Valley Christian Reformed Church (CVCRC)
and then rented to CVCS. These new facilities have given the school four large classrooms,
one smaller classroom, a gym and a kitchen. They are connected to the CVCRC sanctuary. The school has continued to grow. It now serves K-12th grade in it's current facilities.
Average enrollment in recent years has been 65-75 students.

On August 20, 2008 the Champlain Valley Christian
School received its Certificate of Occupancy for our new building. We first want
to thank God that we are so blessed to have a new and beautiful facility to
train our children. We also need to acknowledge everyone who made this all
possible, our donors, volunteers, workers, school board and steering committee.
There is still work to be done as we focus on the total project.
